Rooms & Rates
Our five comfortably elegant guest rooms celebrate the heritage of major ethnic groups that settled Buffalo. Rates range from $135 to $175 double occupancy; each rate is $15 less for single occupancy (as indicated below). Rates are subject to 11.75% state and local lodging tax. Included is a full breakfast by candlelight or a continental breakfast, depending on guests’ travel needs.
All rooms have comfortable seating, telephone, robes, ceiling fan, coffee maker, and iron and ironing board. A refreshment center holds always-available beverages and snacks as well as a small refrigerator, microwave, and toaster for guests’ use. The inn is centrally air conditioned.
Each bathroom features hair dryer, magnifying mirror, and fine, herb-scented glycerin bar soap as well as dispensers for shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner.

Irish Room | See Bath

Irish Room
This, our largest room, honors the Irish immigrants who helped build the Erie Canal. It features a king-size iron bed, a cream-colored Empire sofa, a dressing alcove with cheval mirror, and an electric stove that affords the ambience of a fireplace any time and extra warmth on cool nights. Walls are covered in William Morris’s Chrysanthemum design in green and celery. A flat-screen TV/DVD offers satellite programming. The en suite bath, with sage-green paneling and complementary Morris foliage print, has a pedestal sink and beautiful walk-in ceramic shower.

French Room |
French Room
This spacious room, which pays tribute to the area's earliest European explorers, has a decorative fireplace and a king-size feather bed that is convertible to twin. Two Louis XVth chairs are covered in champagne damask material, and the walls feature a Schumacher champagne damask-design wallcovering. French blue and gold afford colorful accents, along with French-themed art. A flat-screen TV/DVD offers satellite programming. The room’s private in-hall bath has a pedestal sink and tub-shower combination.

The salmon-colored Schumacher Chrysanthemum wallcovering in this charming room provides a pleasant backdrop for a comfortable queen-size sleigh bed. A beautiful crewel tapestry provides colorful drama, and an electric stove affords the ambience of a fireplace any time and extra warmth on cool nights. A flat-screen TV/DVD offers satellite programming. The private en suite bath features William Morris‘s Compton wallcovering, salmon-colored wainscoting, a walk-in ceramic shower, and pedestal sink.

The following two rooms are located in a separate wing and are perfect for families or friends traveling together and for others who can enjoy these lovely rooms at
cost savings because the bathroom is shared when both rooms are occupied. |

Featuring designer William Morris’s Vine wallcovering with mauve-rose grape clusters and Eastlake chairs covered in matching tapestry, this serene room offers a queen-size antique brass bed and art depicting fabled Venice. Possible semiprivate bath, described below.

Polish Room |
Polish Room
This cozy room is covered in yet another Morris wall covering in blue and taupe. It has a full-size bed, Chippendale desk, and seating for two. The art work celebrates literature and music. Possible semiprivate bath, described below.

Native
American Common Area: Furnished in Craftsman style with Indian artifacts and prints
and lighted by stunning stained glass windows, our loft common
area is dedicated to the Western New York Native tribes who formed
the Iroquois Nation. A refreshment center contains the makings
of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, a small guest refrigerator
holds juices and soft drinks, and a hot and cold spring water
dispenser is available for guests' use.
Payment
for rooms may be made with cash, traveler's checks, or credit card-Visa,
MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Rooms must be guaranteed
by a credit card or advance deposit, refundable except for a $15
transaction fee in case of cancellation with two weeks advance
notice, or if rebooked with shorter notice. Two-night minimum
for summer, holiday, and autumn leaves weekends. Children welcome.

For
the health, comfort, and safety of our guests, smoking is not
permitted indoors.
